The CERT was first
thought of and implemented by the Los Angeles Fire Department in the
year 1985. A CERT should be sponsored by the local government agency
and the goal of this community system is to save the people when any
kinds of disaster takes place, which is usually the fire department
or an emergency management agency. Concept of Community EmergencyResponse Teams is the full form of CERT. The state Citizen Corps
generally funds the CERT program on the regular basis. We offer
the best training and rescue services across the world.
Though CERT members
are trained to respond to emergencies, they also do have other duties
when required. They also put up funds to buy emergency medical kits
and other medical equipment to make them available while any disaster
takes place. They either conduct or take part in disaster response
exercises, and recruit and train new members.
At the time of
disaster, members of the CERT team help people and perform varied
rescue tasks during emergencies. In this way trained medics can
completely concentrate on more technical tasks. CERT members are
trained in courses such as hospital care, fire safety,
disaster preparedness, rescue operations, disaster medical
operations, and disaster psychology. All the members of the CERT team
should have a basic knowledge of using medical equipment.
